Weekly Pool Maintenance

What makes us different

At M & R Pool Maintenance we do things very differently. We have a custom built online platform to which we upload pics of each pool as an when we do the maintenance not only to confirm that we were in fact there on a specific day but also what time and what the ph reading was on that day. We can then go back many weeks to see what the trend is and if/when a problem occurred. This way we get to know each pool individually since no 2 pools are the same. The owner of the company then logs in daily to view each pool via this online platform.

We also consider something that no-one else seems to ever consider and that is TDS. TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) is the level of saturation of the water in terms of residual, undissolved chemicals that build up over time. If this level is too high the water will struggle to become clear and especially to maintain clarity.

Around 30% of chlorine is undissolvable and every time one puts algaecides, clarifiers, flocculants, etc. into the water the TDS increases. Eventually nothing can dissolve in the water and this means that the chlorine and other chemicals cannot dissolve in the water and therefore they become ineffective.
